William B. Travis Early College High School

PSAT Day 10/26/21

Travis ECHS will be providing the 8/9 PSAT (to 9th graders) and PSAT/NMSQT (to 10th & 11th graders) on Tuesday 10/26/21. Please make sure your student gets a good night's sleep before the test and arrives early enough to school to eat breakfast. Reach out to grade-level counselors for more information or visit the CollegeBoard for specifics about the test.

The PSAT 8/9 is a test that eighth and ninth graders take during the regular school day. It’s the first test in the SAT Suite of Assessments, which also includes the PSAT 10PSAT/NMSQT, and the SAT. All the tests in the suite measure the knowledge and skills your child is learning in school—the same knowledge and skills they’ll need to succeed in college.

The PSAT/NMSQT is a standardized test that 11th graders (and some 10th graders) take in October. Like the SAT, it measures the knowledge and skills in reading, writing, and math students learn in the classroom—the same knowledge and skills your child needs to succeed in college and career.
